Full Truckload (FTL) Services
Full Truckload suits businesses that want to partially load a trailer, however, prefer a dedicated truck for their delivery. Some reasons for this may be because of sensitive and high risk freight. On the other hand, a business may have enough to fill up a full truckload that it justifies a FTL shipment. It’s important to remember that a FTL shipment generally costs more than a LTL shipment. A key difference between a FTL and LTL shipments is that a FTL will be delivered to its destination faster since it’s going straight to the final destination, making minimal to no stops (depending on the destination). FTL has its own advantages in comparison to LTL such as, the speed of delivery, best suited for sensitive, high risk freight, large shipments, fewer restrictions when it comes to size and weight restrictions.
